Little Hoopsters

Little Hoopsters is a fun, skill-based introduction to the game of basketball. Little Hoopsters participants will learn the fundamentals of dribbling, passing, shooting, rebounding and defense. At the end of each session, the boys and girls will play a controlled scrimmage, where the participants will be able to practice some of their newly developed skills.

What time of year does RAYBA run Little Hoopsters?

Traditionally, and based on interest, RAYBA runs sessions of Little Hoopsters in the fall (October/Early November). Specific dates and times will be posted on the RAYBA.org web site.

What days of the week do Little Hoopsters gather?

Saturday mornings.

Where are the Little Hoopsters sessions?

RAYBA utilizes community gyms. Rogers Elementary is the location for the Fall 2025 session.

How do I register my child for Little Hoopsters?

Registration occurs through the RAYBA.org website.

When

Dates: Saturday Mornings one-hour session (Fall 2025)- Oct 25, Nov 1, Nov 8, Nov 15 and Nov 22

Where

Location: Rogers Elementary School

Time

You will receive an email with your assigned one-hour session time in early-October. Sessions will not begin until at least 8 AM and the last session will not go past 12 PM.

COST

$60 (includes ball and t-shirt)

Geographic Eligibility:

1) Players must attend a school (public, private, or charter) or have a permanent residence within boundaries of schools located in ISD 728 boundaries south of the Mississippi River.

2) Players that do not meet these requirements may register for the RAYBA House Program. The RAYBA board will approve/deny these registrations within 10 days following the registration period deadline. Priority will be given to the players who attend school or live in District #728.
